12/21/2011: Today Shad Kember and I are heading back from our second trip in the last 5 weeks to the city of Iguala, Guerrero. We were happy with our visit on a number of fronts. The Martinez family who is the family to our sister Alma Camilo (from the Spanish Assembly in Phoenix) insisted on us continuing to have nightly meetings in their home. This proved to be very helpful and reassuring to those that had professed a month ago. Also they invited other family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Paul and Barb Thiessen (Zapopan Mexico)

Early in December just over 4 000 Spanish calendars arrived here. In just over 2 hours, 2 000 calendars were given out door-to-door around the hall! Next Saturday the believers plan to gather about noon and do the remaining ones. Two phone calls came on Saturday asking for either information about the meetings or a request for more calendars. Mark and Brenda Bachert (Nicuragua)

In October, our third child was born, Elisabeth Audrey.  We are so thankful to the Lord for His continued blessing and care of us!  We also thank the Lord’s people for their prayerful care of us.  The little assembly in El Valle saw some growth in the past few months.  Four believers were baptized in October, and three were added to the fellowship of God’s Assembly.  Continue reading Mark and Brenda Bachert (Nicuragua)
